HAMEEDI VENTURO REVEALS DETAILS OF PROJECT ORIGINE
Long-Travel Suspension. Load-Fused Carbon Structure. Naturally Aspirated V12
Hameedi Venturo today reveals details of Project Origine, a clean-sheet performance car concept that establishes the architectural intent, driving characteristics, and mechanical foundation of the company’s first all-terrain hypercar. Project Origine will be developed and built in Italy with the first planned deliveries in 2030. The programme represents a multi-year effort to create the world’s first all-terrain hypercar, supported by an initial investment exceeding €150M.
Despite its ability to operate across a wide range of environments, Project Origine is not conceived as an SUV, crossover, or raised road vehicle. It is defined as a low, wide, purpose-built performance car, with proportions, driving position, and dynamics developed accordingly.
“The defining work right now is architectural,” said Jamal Hameedi, Co-Founder and CEO of Hameedi Venturo. “Once hierarchy and intent are clear, everything else becomes a consequence rather than a compromise. We have the opportunity to develop a car completely from scratch in a brand new segment, and we’re doing it in the purest way possible.”
Project Origine is built around a load-fused carbon and aluminium primary structure, engineered so that in extreme overload events, suspension and impact loads are deliberately resolved and sacrificed upstream of the carbon primary structure - protecting it from localised overload and preserving overall chassis repairability.. The car is centered around an all-new, naturally aspirated V12 engine, chosen to establish a mechanical foundation defined by progressive and consistent power delivery, as well as absolute sonic clarity across a broad operating range.
In creating a completely new type of vehicle, the hierarchy of systems is deliberately inverted: suspension architecture defines the platform, with structure, packaging, and driveline decisions then made primarily in service of the vehicle’s dynamic and kinematic requirements.
Within this framework, suspension development focuses on expanding the vehicle’s usable operating envelope - including substantial ride height adjustability - without compromising performance-car proportions, steering fidelity, or dynamics. This novel approach pushes into territory that has remained largely unexplored in both performance-car and motorsport applications.
“The focus at this stage is system definition - propulsion and driveline, structure, chassis and suspension, and control systems developed together as a single system,” said Maximilian Szwaj, Chief Technology Officer, Hameedi Venturo. “That level of integration is the only way this vehicle can operate across widely varying conditions without changing its fundamental character.”
Luxury within Project Origine is treated not as a means of isolation – in essence removing much of the noise and vibration like a traditional luxury car – but as a way to heighten clarity, control, and engagement. Materials, systems, and interfaces are being defined to support the visceral driving experience rather than mute it, reinforcing mechanical honesty while maintaining comfort and composure over extended use.
Integral to Project Origine is I Venticinque - an embedded development cohort of twenty-five individuals given sustained immersion in the vehicle’s development through controlled access to studio sessions, prototypes, and key validation activities in extreme environments. The purpose of I Venticinque is not access to a finished product, but rather accumulated context - built through continuous exposure to the process that shapes it.
“From the outset, we’ve treated the client experience as something that needs to be designed with the same rigour as the product itself,” said Dr. Andreas Baenziger, Co-Founder, Hameedi Venturo. “For a car this radical, immersion has to begin long before handover - so people can live an idea become a design, a design become a prototype, and a prototype become the experience that’s ultimately delivered.”
